Edan Bavelock made his 50th appearance for The Non-League Reds in the recent FA Vase victory at Selby Town.
Edan made his debut for the Club near the start of last season, away at Glossop North End in a 3-1 victory. He went on to make a total of 35 appearances last season as he became a regular fixture in the 1st Team. This has been largely thanks to his energetic performances that see Edan cover every blade of grass at times. He also has a great touch and is key to the possession football that The Reds have played recently.
His 1st goal for AFC came in the crazy 4-4 draw at home to the Isle of Man in September last year, and his only other goal so far came in January of this year in another drawn game, this time against Irlam in a 2-2 home draw. Edan's display against Selby Town on his 50th appearance was typical of his performances to date, getting on the ball as much as possible and dominating the midfield area.
Edan was proud to have reached 50 appearances so quickly. He told us, "I'm really pleased to have made my 50th appearance for the Club. AFC was the first team I joined when I came to Liverpool and I'm enjoying it here and it's a great bunch of lads. Hopefully I can keep it going and continue to put in good performances."
Well done Edan and here's to many more appearance for The Non-League Reds.
