Elliot Reaches Half Century As Reds Win

Points Shared With Cheadle
A stoppage time equaliser from Owen Fisher-Jones earned The Non-League Reds a point, in a tough game at home against Cheadle Town. The early stages were quite even with lots of possession for both sides but very few goal scoring opportunities. However, midway through the half, Cheadle pounced on an AFC defensive slip, allowing Khan to cross for Njie to tap home for the opener. AFC responded well and began to press. Reds Through to Quarter-Final
A confident midweek performance from The Non-League Reds on our visit to 'The Wirral', helped seal a place in the final eight of this season's Macron Cup. Both teams started brightly and tried to play good football, on a bobbly pitch that had stood up well to the downfalls of rain in the previous 24 hours.
